Adidas and BYBORRE’s TRUE COLOR collaboration challenges the industry to use creativity to cut environmental impact at every stage, from defining the end user to sourcing materials and turning textiles into garments. The True Color approach prioritizes raw, pure materials and minimizes processing steps like dyeing, finishing and complex construction. It also emphasizes reducing material travel to avoid unnecessary emissions, urging brands and makers to simplify supply chains and design for sustainability.

BYBORRE is a Dutch textile innovation studio driven by the belief that the future of materials lies at the intersection of craft, technology and sustainability. The studio develops advanced knitted textiles that challenge conventional manufacturing, creating fabrics engineered for performance, circularity and tactile experience. Through collaborative projects with global brands, BYBORRE explores how intelligent material design can reshape industries from fashion to automotive. The studio also runs an in-house atelier, continuously creating products that showcase the textiles in tangible forms, from fashion collections to interior pieces and art objects.
